Audio: Celebrating 20 years of the debut of Akiyo Ohmi as a lyricist!
March 19th, 2022The audio archive of the talk session, with the guest performer Akiyo Ohmi (大見明夜) at the Christmas Live Party (2021), is now available on YouTube! (Note: the audio conversation is in Japanese.)
Akiyo Ohmi has had an extensive career across the music industry as a kind and caring female singer-songwriter and has performed at various live events and in various media. Oggy has also supported her as a sound engineeer for several live shows since they first met at the live house “Yuraku Brave Bar Yokohama”. Especially the concert with the stars projected, renting out the planetarium, was so wonderful.
The year 2021 marked the 20th anniversary of her debut as a lyricist, so this has been a valuable interview in which she looked back on her past activities and talked about his current state of mind and future aspirations, including her club days when she sang 1,000 Japanese music covers, her debut as a lyricist, the planetarium concert mentioned above, the launch of a vocal school business, and more. We would also like to give you some update to all of you who have had some relationship with us.
– To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the debut of ~Akiyo~ (a.k.a Akiyo Ohmi) as a lyricist, we will invite her to talk about her valuable experiences in the music industry and collaborate with her on music.
– A variety of artists (krystalcube, Oginomad, Susumu Yamahara) will make guest appearances to enliven the exchange with music.
We hope that you (verbally) also say something in the event, conducting the live music and talk show.
