Chipo from Zambia joined us today! October 24 marks Zambia’s Independence Day — congratulations! Thank you for the inspiring presentation — from the majestic Victoria Falls and vast Lake Kariba with its spirit Nyami Nyami, to Zambia’s rich nature, wildlife, diverse peoples, languages, culture, traditional music, Chitenge fashion, and delicious cuisine. — and thanks to Agnes and everyone who joined and cheered in the chat!

Ahmed from Egypt made his appearance! From his introduction as a fan of Eiichi Shibusawa to his wide-ranging experiences, he shared about Egyptian culture and history — as well as sports, education, food, and connections with Japan. Shukran (Arabic for “thank you”)!
Dorothy, who appeared last time, also joined in to cheer — thank you, Dala!

Dorothy from Nigeria joined us! She gave a presentation introducing Nigeria and led us in practicing how to say “Good morning,” “Good afternoon,” and “Good evening” in the three major languages — Igbo, Hausa, and Yoruba. It was a special Saturday with former interns from Nigeria — Sani, Agnes, and Malik — all coming together! And special thanks to Ruyonga and Ahmed for joining in and showing their support! We also had a wonderful time making music together — it was such a fulfilling day!
