Today is the day of Haiku because it is August 19th and “819” can read “haiku” in Japanese pronunciation. So, here is a work of mine.

Ekimae-de Necktie Yurume Tsuki Suzushi

Direct Translation: In front of a station, loosing the necktie, and summer moon.

Explanation: I tried to express a fictional scene in which, after work at night, I arrived at the train station, tired and relieved to finally loosen my tie, and looked up at the sky to see the summer moon appearing. Although it is a fiction, as I myself almost never wear a tie, I imagined the typical feelings of working people (especially typically in Japan, where many people commute by train, but again it is a fictional scene to represent the feeling itself), and included the meaning of appreciation. Happy Friday to all, and good luck!
